Accomplishments
Simply co-founding this league with fellow legend Scott Carmichael could very well have been enough to get Joey into the Hall of Fame, but he went above and beyond the call of duty. The only 3-time champion ('99, '00, '02), Joey was the only man who could wrestle the MVP away from Carmichael (twice!), and even snagged a Cy Young in 2000. Athletic beyond nearly everyone's imagination, Joey never didn't win the Defensive Player of the Year award, and until 2003, seemed incapable of losing a homerun derby. He was even an overachiever behind the scenes, writing 437 or so articles for the league's website. Most were fairly poor though, so let's return our gaze to his impeccable swing, which helped make him the #2 Hall of Famer in the league.
